I enjoyed working with Flight Training magazine, especially when I got to do their covers. They had a gimmick where the front cover would be seen in what appeared to be a reverse view on the inside cover, almost as if the the cover were transparent. As a cartoonist, I looked upon that as an opportunity to exploit the trick and do the equivalent of a two-panel cartoon with the set up on the front cover, and the punch line on the inside.
